Title: Uniform Behaviour

Genre: Erotic Romance Anthology
Publisher: Editor/Purchase @ List
Length: Anthology

~ Blurb ~

Do you get all weak-kneed at the sight of a grubby fireman or a hunky soldier? Perhaps immaculately-dressed waiting-on staff get you feeling frisky? If so, you’ve come to the right place.

Uniform Behaviour contains sixteen smutty stories about firemen, soldiers, sailors, police, security guards and even waiters, priests and cleaners!

Delve into this anthology and enjoy steamy stories from established erotica authors including Justine Elyot, Craig J Sorensen, Victoria Blisse, Shermaine Williams, Elizabeth Coldwell and Lucy Felthouse. Uniform Behaviour also proudly introduces some exciting debut authors. So remember, you saw them here first!

As well as being written and compiled for your titillation, this anthology is also designed to do good. A portion of the proceeds from Uniform Behaviour will be donated to UK charity Help for Heroes, which helps those wounded in current conflict.

The stories in this anthology have been hand-picked by a uniform aficionado, so you can rest assured that only the sexiest erotic fiction lies in this eBook.

Men and women in uniform -- you know you think they're sexy! Not only has a collection of authors come together to produce one massive conglomeration of hotness, but they've also contributed to an anthology that is giving back to those who serve!! A portion of the proceeds from Uniform Behaviour will be donated to UK charity Help for Heroes, which helps those wounded in current conflict.

The anthology consists of sixteen short stories that vary in 1st and 3rd person point-of-view, author writing styles, and while most stories are set in a contemporary setting, there are a few mixed in that are historical and futuristic, which makes this anthology uniquely diverse!

The smutness factor ranges from 'light' and not as graphic, to heavy use of graphic language, which again mixes things up a bit. But, regardless of the heat intensity, you will be left nice and warm after each and every story!

I appreciated the fact that the anthology consisted of a very diverse collection of uniform stories. Many of us automatically think of the military when we think of uniforms, and while there are plenty of those type of uniforms gracing the pages in the book, Lucy Felthouse -- and the authors -- did a fantastic job at recognizing that military are not the only uniforms that people put on for their occupation every day. What about the catering guy? The fireman? The futuristic fighter pilot? The bartender? Or even the Priest?! Yes, a priest even graces (no pun intended) the pages of this anthology!

In addition to the varied uniforms and settings, what also mixes things up and breaks any continuity from one story to the next is the varied authors and their writing styles. Each brings a little something different as they spin their tale of a man or woman in uniform. And, speaking of the different sexes, it's nice to see that a couple of men authors made it into the anthology, both giving the female lead a position of authority over the men leads.

Overall, I'm really glad that I had the opportunity to read this great anthology that didn't keep me feeling like I was reading the same story over and over! It was fun and sexy and I really enjoyed it!

The Breakdown of stories:

Fireman's Lift by Rebecca Bond {Rating: 4/5;1st Person}
Middle-aged divorcee, Susie, has her fantasy fulfilled by her handsome, younger neighbor Bryan, when a sudden breakdown of the lift (elevator for us Americans) leaves them in darkness and nothing but the two of them to keep each other occupied. This was a very sexy and cute story as one fireman sheds his shyness in an emergency to be left dominate and needing in the darkness.

In Love and War by Lexie Bay {Rating: 4/5; Historical; 1st Person}
This was a milder historical erotica, told from the view point of Anna, a young German girl who nurses, Dimitri, a wounded Russian pilot, hidden in her family barn, back to health after his plan crashed. A relationship builds between them until he finally takes her - like she had been secretly yearning. When they are discovered, they must make a life and death decision together.

It was romantic, sweet, and sensual, and I could see this short story being elaborated on in the future.
"That he was forbidden made him more desirable. I knew if my family found Dimitri, they would kill him immediately and likely kill me too. At the very least they would drive me away, disown me and leave me destitute. It would break my parents' hearts. I should be frightened; I should make him leave, but when I saw him I was blind to everything else. I could only think of how he made me feel, of how my body cried out to be with him."
Dirty Deeds by Victoria Blisse {Rating: 3/5; 1st person}
Emma is a cleaner at an office building when she meets much younger office exec., Jake Holloway. She's always been attracted to him and looked forward to cleaning his office. Soon, he offers her a position to clean his flat; an offer she can't refuse. She fantasizes about him none stop until it becomes an obsession. One hot summer day, after spilling red wine down her uniform, she takes it off to clean and dry, only to be caught be her handsome employer. He takes advantage of the moment by confessing his own fantasies of her. Together they live out their fantasy in a short little romp.

Just Couldn't Wait by Lucy Felthouse {Rating: 4.5/5;3rd person}
Carla is a journalist at a very boring business party, which gives her plenty of time to fantasize about the sexy waiter keeping her glass full. Feeling the need to do something much more fun, she boldly approaches him inquiring if he was due for a break. The two quickly sneak off, away from prying gossiping eyes, and barricade themselves in a locked office to have a little fun.

This was a very well written story, the author obviously paying attention to detail and dialogue. It was an overall good balance of 'realism', flow, dialogue, and sex.  Nothing felt forced  -- neither the act of sex nor the characters actions.
"Carla had never really thought about it before, but she decided there and then that waiters' get-ups were hot. They were just so prim and proper-looking, with their pristine white shirts, natty bow ties and sharp creases. It was also what it represented -- polite society and good behaviour. Carla immediately wanted to corrupt him. She was sure he was no angel, despite his current persona, but still -- in a uniform like that, she could pretend.

...Carla decided the only way to alleviate the boredom of the evening would be to make some entertainment of her own. And that included the mighty fine waiter, she surmised. Yes, it was time for some corruption."
Crest of a Wave by Shermaine Williams {Rating: 3.5/5; 3rd person}
Philomena is captivated by the sailor she sees outside her home. All she knows is that his name is Captain Nathan Fraser, when she out-of-the-blue invites the stranger inside for a tour of the house. After brief small talk during their tour, she finds herself being tossed on the bed of the master bedroom.

Sin City by Rebecca Bond {Rating: 4/5 ; 1st person}
You're not given their names, but she's a cop in NYC, and she's been chasing a very bad boy. Just when she thinks shes handled the situation, the situation handles her. With a quickness, a power exchange occurs, where she finds herself the one in handcuffs. A delicious little scene unfolds right in the dark back streets of Manhattan.
""Listen Officer, I'm not out to hurt anyone..." He eased the pressure at my neck and brought a hand to my cheek, trailing his fingertips down my skin and across my plump, tinted lips. "I want you," he mumbled against my lobe before sucking it softly into his mouth, nipping gently at my flesh."
The Captain's Persuasion by Delyth Angharad {Rating: 4.5/5; 3rd Person, Fantasy/Futeristic}
Readers who enjoy futuristic smuttiness will enjoy this quick story about a Captain being seduced by a fighter pilot. Lots of playfulness and sexual tension leads the Captain to not be able to resist her any longer, especially after their adrenaline is pumping from combat.
Aja smiled widely beneath her visor. She was contemplating her next play when his voice buzzed over the headphones again.
"Planet-side?" came his simple question.
"Captain Dex, are you asking me to accompany you alone to the surface of the planet?" she asked, a tremble of anticipation in her voice.
"I think I am," he replied uncertainly.
Aja docked her ship on top of his again. "Better get us down there before you change your mind!"
Guard Mounting by Justine Elyot {Rating: 4.5/5; 1st Person}
Annie is on a mission to break the stoicism of one of the Queen's Guard's. Yes, one of the precisely dressed men who will remain rigidly straight without yielding to any emotion, regardless of the circumstance. A challenge was made, and the guard rose to the challenge (pun intended). This story was fun and sexy, and was light on the graphic language. I also enjoyed the overall way it was written, such as the language and dialogue used.
I nuzzled into the hollow between his neck and shoulder, enjoying the tautness and solidity of it before dropping teaser kisses into that sensitive space. Did I imagine a flicker? Was that something? No sound, no motion, just strength and silence, a wall for me to run at and run at until I burst through.
Circling by Cassandra Carr {Rating: 3.5/5, 1st Person}
A really quick, very naughty (*g*) little story about a college student home on break to work her normal bar schedule. An old flirtation is rekindled between her and and another co-worker, and the only thing different between the past and present is that they finally do something with all their flirtation. Because of how quick this story was, it was a light on characterization. This is a really short, fast-paced wham-bam kind of story that contains a graphic scene.
About a half hour later when I walked by on my way to the bar he brushed his fingers against my inner thigh, glancing up as if gauging my reaction. I was holding my breath. He briefly caressed my skin with the rough pads of his fingers, then let go. I felt strangely bereft.
True Confession by Indigo Skye {Rating:4/5, 1st Person}
Oooo -- I think everyone needs to go to confession after reading this one! :) Ms. Skye definitely pushes the bar -- or the confessional -- in a hot little seduction of a young priest!
"You shouldn't be here. Remember what happened last time?"
"Of course I remember. It was one of the greatest fucks of my young life. Why do you think I'm here? The fucking wine list?"
"Salvation? Confession? I hope that's why you're here," he says.
"Liar." He can't deny he's got something more than salvation on his mind. "So... what are you wearing?" I say in a slutty voice, to tease him. In spite of himself, he laughs.
The Weight of Duty of Madeline Elayne {Rating:3/5 ,1st Person}
A chance meeting during the Novia Scotia International Tattoo (which I still don't understand) in Canada brought an army "Gunner" guy and drummer girl, in a Pipes and Drums outfit, together. While it was sometimes hard for me to get into the story, the ending had a very well put-together message.

Venus by Hawthorn {Rating:5/5, 3rd Person}
A recently divorced woman sets out to have some little 'recovery' time after her horrible divorce, leaving her feeling anything like beautiful and desired, only to find her desired by a young attractive steward. I really enjoyed the author's character development, plot, and pace of this story. The overall story itself was really good!
"Again she hushed him with a finger on his lips. "It's alright," she repeated. "I think I need this. It's been a long time, and -- well, I haven't felt desirable in years. My hus-- my ex-husband destroyed that rather. And besides, "she chuckled suddenly, "I'm on holiday."
On Manoeuvres by Jack Delaney {Rating:3/5 , 3rd Person}
Sergeant Sarah, and Corporal Jack had got to be real course over the past year, but one chance night, they had the opportunity to get even closer! This was quick, slightly more Femdom read at the beginning, with the hero being more in control at the end.
"Here's how I want this to go, Corporal," she said with a Sergeant's authority. "I'm going to sit on the bed and you are going to strip for me. When you're naked I will tell you exactly what I want you to do to me, and you'd better do it sharpish!" Jack was in no mood for insubordination and ripped off his white T-shirt, aware of Sarah's eyes on his toned body. Kicking off his boots, Jack slipped out of his jeans and boxers in one easy, practised movement.
Strictly No Parking by Elizabeth Coldwell {Rating:4/5, 1st Person}
What happens when you take someone's parking place? Well the security will spank you of course! :) This was a really quick read that had the hero as the dominate and spanking the 'naughty' woman who had parked her car illegally. Or did she?

His musky, masculine aroma was strong as he bent his face close to my ear. "I gave you a chance, but you just had to disobey me, didn't you? Well, now you find out what happens when you don't do as you're told."
Taken With Consent by Lexie Bay {Rating:4/5, 3rd Person}
Interrupted from finally getting the date (and sex) she so needed, Maddy had to head down to the Police station to bail her brother out of jail. Only once there, a dominant police officer fulfills her night's desire! This was quick, fast-paced sexy read.
"I want you," he whispered against her lips, "to taste you, touch you." He kissed her again. "God, I really wanna fuck you." His words sent shivers down her spine and she pulled his lips back down to hers, biting, their mouths mashed together, almost devouring each other. "We don't have much time," he murmured.
Lingua Acutus by Craig J Sorensen {Rating:5/5 , 1st Person}
Fabulously wrote!! This is a story of a female Drill Sergeant and one smart-mouthed Army recruit. Over time a connection is made beyond the scope of superior or underling. The story holds the reader with anticipation and sexual tension all while creating empathy and sympathy towards the characters. What makes this story stand out is that the author did a fantastic job at getting backstory and characterization out through the use of dialogue.
A tiny curl of a smile. She tipped her Drill Saergeant's hat to my forehead. Ah, old times. I allowed my eyes to stay in hers as she berated me with words that would have made that Drill Sergeant across the way that first day blush. Minty.
She eased back, and turned her eyes ever so slightly toward my pocket.
When I was alone, I fished a card from my pocked. Sergeant First Class Valerie Beecham, US Army Drill Instructor. I turned the card over. There was an off post address in pretty, round, soft cursive letters along with, "6:00 p.m. Don't be late."
(Overall Heat: 5/5; Although some are more graphic than others)

(Overall Rating: 4.5/5; Some stories are stronger than others, but the diversity, creativeness, and sexiness create a strong anthology of both men and woman in uniform!)
